HISTORY
The Gruart family has been more than 80 years in the cork stopper manufacturing industry and in 1925 it the constituted in the cork manufacturing company GRUART Y BAUS at Cassà de la Selva, Girona.
Just after the Civil War the company Manufacturas Gruart SL was constituted, dedicated to the preparation of cork and the manufacture of stoppers, and during the next 30 years it will direct and promote Ángel Gruart Deu from Vicente de Alcantara, seat of the cork industry.
Jorge Gruart Vila, Angel Gruart's son, carried on the tradition into the 80s and developed other company projects which prevail to this day.
Vinico Servicios de Embotellado SL is Gruart's 4th generation drive to combine traditional cork with modernity and technology to meet future demands. With a high technical focus, we combine decades old experience in cork stopper manufacture with new bottling processes, emphasizing on quality and service to our wine cellar entities. |
